Michelle Dokey

I’m a Northern California girl at heart, currently living in sunny Los Angeles with my wonderful husband and stepdaughter.  I’ve spent most of my life crafting, creating and designing for others.   After pursuing my undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Mass Communications from UC Berkeley, I made a career switch and returned to UC Berkeley for their Interior Architecture and Design program. I began working for esteemed designer Palmer Weiss while completing my degree and after several years of working in San Francisco, I relocated to Los Angeles where I designed homes for Hollywood's elite with some of L.A's top designers.  Over the course of my work with these designers I developed and cultivated my own aesthetic, which prompted me to launch my own firm in 2014.

I am a furniture fanatic and love mixing traditional, modern and mid century pieces, to create eclectic, comfortable homes that are distinctively individual.  Through collaboration with my clients, I am able to create deeply personal, welcoming spaces that withstand the test of time.

After building relationships with many of my interiors clients and being asked to style and plan their weddings and private events, I launched the event design side of my business.  I became a Certified Wedding Planner through The Bridal Society in 2013 and currently serve on the society’s executive board.

Because each life event and each home is so important to my clients, I take special care to infuse each project with thoughtful, unique touches that relate specifically to them.
